Excellent. If are considering carrying concealed, or even if you have for years, this is one of the best places to start. Few people, regardless of experience, really know the information contained in this video. The first few sections cover rationality of carrying, use of deadly force, some fundamental concepts, and Massad Ayoob’s ‘Ten Commandments of Concealed Carry’. These topics set the stage for more practical principles and techniques in the follow on sections of the video. Massad Ayoob’s ability to give direct, specific and relevant information is unparalleled. The only video I would give a higher recommendation for is the Deadly Force FAQ with Massad Ayoob — this is really where you should start. Again, excellent body of information!

Massad’s books or videos are always full of great information. In this video Mas goes over concealed carry and the many options you have when carrying. Everything is explained in detail.

When it cames to just about anything on concealed carry and judicious use of force, Massad Ayoob is THE authority, period. Therefore I had high expectations towards this film. To some degree they were met, but not completely.
Anything Ayoob says, makes sense and carries a lot of weight. Therefore, the things covered in the film were top-notch. Also, Ayoob is a very experienced lecturer, and he presents his points in a very understandable way and with a suitable amount of dry humor.
The things I was not satisfied were the subjects not covered in the film. One major shortcoming was the absense of appendix carry. The film is from year 2012, and it might be that AIWB was not that popular then, than it is now. However, 2012 is not that many years ago so I´m not sure about that. Also, while there were some advise on clothing selection, the presentation was not very complete. There were other subjects also that I found myself missing, or hoping that they had been covered in more datail. I realize that one cannot cover everything in one film, but there were things on the film that could have been handled in a shorter time, like the chapter where Ayoob shows how he carries over 50 (!) guns on his person concealed. Impressive, yes, but it could have been made a bit faster and the saved time could have been used on some other subjects.
Overall, a very informative film that hopefully will have a sequel in the future that covers some of the things left out from this film.

Make Ready with Massad Ayoob: Ayoob on Concealed Carry is one of three videos offered by Panteao Productions (the other two videos are Masaad Ayoob – Lethal Force FAQ and Masaad Ayoob – Home Defense). This video does a great job of demonstrating different methods of concealed carry. He also discusses different legal issues and also goes presents his 10 Commandments of Concealed Carry. This video is definitely worth your time and will make a solid addition to your Video Library.

This was a good video. Massad has a good sense of human and is entertaining. Some parts of the video ran a bit long but the 10 commandments, carry techniques, and disadvantaged positions chapters were very informative; some other parts ran on a bit long. I wish this included some information on appendix carry but it covered pretty much every other carry method. I am going to check out his home defense video on here next.
