Some good tips here. The whistle demo was “ear opening” revelation. Not as effective as I would have thought and what works isn’t in the store.
Shotgun shell whistle was neat.
Of course making the signal fire was the highlight. Wind is your enemy here.

This video – Signaling for Rescue is the 10th video in the series. I have watched all of the previous videos in the “Make Ready to Survive” series and I have to say that I am very pleased with the content and the knowledge that is available to the viewer. This video is another Dave Canterbury solo video, and if you are a fan of his Bushcraft series of books or if you have been lucky enough to take one of his classes at the Pathfinder School, you will enjoy this video. The video takes a lot of the Fire Making skills that were covered in the previous video and shows you how to apply them to creating signal fires. He also talks about and demonstrates other signaling devices like survival whistles and signal mirrors. All-in-all, another solid Panteao Video!!
