Intermediate Level Workout: Load Manipulation
Warm-up: Walk, Run or Bike 5 min
Dynamic ROM
Training:
Set up two points, starting at arm’s reach, the load stacked at one point. The load should be moderate. While standing in the center, move the load of weights or items from one position to another using a stable trunk while moving in an athletic manner. You will adjust body position and then load placement as directed.
Round 1: Face forward Side-to-side 4 items 4x
Rest 1:00 to 3:00 as needed
Round 2: Face forward Rotate @45º 4 items 4x
Rest 1:00 to 3:00 as needed
Round 3: Face 90º Rotate @180º 4 items 4x
Rest 1:00 to 3:00 as needed
Round 4: Move items further away. Face forward, move items with a side shuffle movement. 4 items 4x
