Paul Howe is a high-risk training instructor that served 20 years in the US Army, ten of those in Special Operations. He served as a Tactical Team Leader and Senior Instructor while assigned to Army Special Operations. During his tour in special operations he was involved in several combat actions. One of the most notable was the battle of Mogadishu that was later portrayed in the motion picture Black Hawk Down.
For this video we take you to the CSAT (Combat Shooting and Tactics) training facility in Nacogdoches, TX where Paul introduces you to Exterior Movement. After a thorough review of equipment, Paul demonstrates single person, two person, and team movement. He reviews clearing corners, the tactical flare, room penetration, CQB medical, the surgical rifle drill and the SUL movement drill.

I think it’s no surprise that Paneao has such high ratings in all categories. This is an excellent peace on team movement. Also always including medical in the video’s is covering a major deficiency in the training industry. Team movement is solid. I just find it funny that in Howe’s instruction he’s not slinging hundreds of rounds yet always hit’s what he’s aiming at with consistent results.

This video – Make Ready with Paul Howe: Intro to Exterior Movement is the only “Team Tactics” type of training video that I have come across. The video is filmed at the CSAT Training Facility in Nacogdoches Texas. There is a lot of great material about how a Tactical Team will approach a structure and deal with the threats inside and outside of it. This DVD is another solid training video from Paul Howe and Panteao Productions!
