This video is heavy into the basics, with no frills added. He lays a foundation from the outset that establishes a strong layer of fundamental building blocks that anyone can learn from. In his NO BS no theatrics approach, he teaches how to mount the gun and hit the target consistently and effectively.
To begin with, he establishes a procedure of how to keep the weapon safe when transitioning from low ready. In this, he stresses drill to the point of redundancy, in order to ingrain good technique into the shooter. His style is loose in some aspects, and very tight in the things that really matter. From there, he expends on the things the shooter really needs to master before attempting to do any of the more technical stuff. Make no mistake, his drills will test your abilities without having you do things that could prove to be a danger to you or others on the range. If you can master the things he teaches in this, taking it to the next level will be a natural transition. This course is highly recommended.

Like Curtis said, this video is a no frills, no BS, approach to Carbine fighting. The fundamentals are what matters and they are what is stressed in this video. This course helped my basic shooting principles tremendously and will help yours as well.

The best instructor I’ve seen so far. I like his keep it simple training methodology. There are a lot of practice drills, and emphasis on ready up drill. While watching and following (dry fire), by the time I finished the video, switching the safety selector between fire and safe suddenly became automatic to me if you know what I mean. Highly recommended!
