Nice presentation of the subject; given the length of the film there was not as much content that I had wished. The instructor is likable and the film is fun to wath.

Boyle makes a good point at the beginning as to why train in the dark. Criminals like to hide in the dark to commit crime and night skills are different than day skills when it comes to shooting.

About half of DVD is background info and a review of flash lights, holsters and gun light / laser sites, etc. Then more of the techniques for using small tactical lights with guns. Never thought about shooting your hand or wrist in the dark, but he brought my attention to that possibility with wrong technique . Just that training was worth the DVD price.

It is not a video where he goes in a dark house and clears the rooms. It is all outside. Mostly daylight and some night scenes. If you use a Streamlight light / laser sight on your gun you can also use it as a less than lethal weapon option. The TLR-2′ lasers are pretty bright and can cause eye discomfort or blindness. Especially the green laser. (But that’s my idea, not his.) Boyle also goes into lots of philosophy about gun handling, attitude, etc. Overall a good video and you get your money’s worth.
